This is for safety reasons. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please make sure your elementary child wears socks and sneakers on the days they have gym class.

Wearing proper footwear ensures full participation and safety in the class. It also allows your child to play safely during outside activities and recess.

Gockley Elementary School is offering a gym app for parents. Mr. Berg, the physical education teacher, has added every class to the Seesaw app, so families can see their children having fun and exercising in physical education class. He has also been taking pictures of the computer classes hard at work in the Dance Mat Typing program.

The families have already started responding about their children’s pictures and how cool it is.

Berg hopes to receive videos back of the students exercising at home, which will result in the students receiving train tickets as a reward.

Berg also created PowerPoint slides of target objects the students threw dodgeballs at.
