AUG. 4

A dispute between a mother and daughter took place in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

On South 10th Street, a fraud case was investigated.

An ordinance violation - use of a fire pit - in the 500 block of Poplar Street was reported.

Officers investigated a report of an unwanted person in the 400 block of Race Street.

A vehicle window was damaged in the 500 block of Race Street.

AUG. 5

Shawn Gillespie, 49, of Catasauqua, was arrested for terroristic threats, simple assault and physical harassment and contact.

Police assisted the fire department at 124 Bridge St.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 200 block of Eugene Street.

A traffic citation was issued in the 500 block of Fifth Street.

A report of fire pit use in the 500 block of Poplar Street was investigated.

In the 700 block of Circle Drive, officers conducted a scam phone call investigation.

AUG. 6

An investigation is continuing for a fraud case that occurred in the 500 block of North 14th Street.

A civil dispute over a property line took place in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.

Officers responded to a harassment case in the 400 block of Bridge Street.

Individuals were advised to keep noise down in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

AUG. 7

A loose dog on Third Street was returned to its owner.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1400 block of Main Street.

A civil matter in the 700 block of Front Street was investigated.

Suspicious activity in the 700 block of Railroad Street was reported. Police checked the area and requested extra patrol.

Problems with tenants in the 100 block of South 14th Street and at Silver Manor were filed with the department.

AUG. 8

A noise complaint in the 100 block of Bridge Street was reported.

A package was reported stolen from a porch in the 100 block of Limestone Street.

Police sought information regarding a fraud case in the 100 block of Front Street.

An intoxicated person on Front Street was reported.

An investigation is continuing for a harassment case that occurred in the 400 block of Walnut Street.

AUG. 9

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a reported DUI on Fourth Street.

Police provided assistance to North Catasauqua officers with a reported fire in the 1100 block of Fourth Street.

AUG. 10

Officers sought information regarding vehicle repossession on Front Street.

Police assisted the fire department at the former St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road.

A traffic citation was issued on West Race Street.

Members of the department responded to a case involving mental health issues in the 400 block of Bridge Street.

A problem with an ex-boyfriend in the 800 block of Poplar Street was reported.

AUG. 11

An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

A loose dog in the 800 block of Front Street was returned to its owner.

AUG. 12

A juvenile missing from the 400 block of Race Street was reported to the department.

A custody issue was investigated in the 700 block of Second Street.

A civil issue between a husband and wife took place in the 200 block of Church Street.

In the 100 block of Bridge Street, a driver was cited and the vehicle towed.

The department and its K-9 assisted Lehigh County Drug Task Force on South 13th Street.

Police assisted Lehigh County Adult Probation in the 600 block of Race Street.
