Barbara J. Hughes, 76, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 18, 2020. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Joann (Smith) Geskey. She was the wife of John R. Hughes for 55 years.

She previously was a billing clerk for Dr. Sharma.

She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Pamela Freyman; a son, Michael Hughes; a daughter, Paula Kresh and her husband Brett; and a granddaughter, Madailein Hughes.

She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Geskey.
