Leon “Bupper” L. Haydt, 67, of Danielsville, died Aug. 14, 2020, at his residence. He was the husband of Maryann (Silfies) Haydt.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Leon M. and Pauline G. (Rehrig) Haydt.

He was an fireman in the U.S. Naval Reserve during peacetime before being discharged in 1978.

He was a laborer for Leonard Silfies Construction, Walnutport, for several years.

He was of the Protestant faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Leon F. and his wife Tammy, Brian, Steven and John, all of Walnutport; three sisters, Linda and her husband Richard Siekonic of Northampton, Susan J. Haydt of Danielsville and Maryann and her husband Terry Edelman of Danielsville; a brother, Barry A. Haydt of Danielsville; and six grandchildren.
