On its Facebook page July 26, Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church announced the church has a new pastor.

Vicar Tom Busteed accepted the call from Pastor Peggy Wuertele, associate bishop of congregations in the Northern Lehigh Valley Mission District. Busteed now moves toward his ordination of the church.

“We started this process over a year ago and are very blessed to now have a new pastor,” the post said.

Busteed started working with the church and its members Aug. 1 and is looking forward to expanding the church’s many programs and missions, the post mentioned.
