Upper Macungie will show “Sonic the Hedgehog” at dusk Aug. 14 at Earl Adams Memorial Park, Breinigsville.
This PG movie shows Sonic sprinting into action as he embraces his new home on earth before he must join forces with a small-town cop to defend the planet from the evil genius, Dr. Robotnik.
Live music will be performed by JT Rooney before the movie.
Masks will be required to use the restrooms and at food trucks.

Parkland Community Library, South Whitehall, is hosting a virtual Teen Dungeon and Dragons Night Zoom meeting 6-8 p.m. Aug. 17 through the website R20 for students in seventh through 12th grade.
A Teen Virtual Yoga with Miss Jenn from West End Yoga for kids in grades six through 12 will be presented from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Aug. 20.
The Hoopla Virtual Book Club will meet to discuss the novel, “Writer and Lovers,” by Lily King 7-8 p.m. Aug. 18.
The library and a Pennsylvania evaluator and consultant will be conducting an introductory home schooling 101 workshop for parents and adult caregivers from 7-8 p.m. Aug. 19 on Zoom.
Topics will include: PA law, curriculum options, how to create a schedule that will work for the child and family as well as information on tutor provision.
Handouts will be provided.
Join certified yoga instructor Karen as she focuses on beneficial yoga for seniors 10:30 a.m. Aug. 20 on Facebook.
Join Dr. Anthony DiMaggio, associate professor of political science at Lehigh University, for a conversation about 21st century social movements 7-8 p.m. Aug. 20 on Zoom.
He will discuss the Black Lives Matter movement, COVID-19 protests, and the role of social movements in modern society.
Registration is needed to attend the Dungeons and Dragon Night, yoga classes, book club, home schooling workshop and Dr. DiMaggio conversation.
