Northampton: Historical society cancels sale
Northampton Area Historical Society has canceled its fall garage and mum sale. The annual event has been popular for many people who have supported the society for years.
The pandemic has also forced the cancellation of NAHS’ monthly open house and the ongoing program “Businesses of a Bygone Era.”
Historical society volunteers are thankful for the members of the community who have used the pandemic lockdown to cull their personal collections of business artifacts and made donations for the collection. They hope to announce a return of the business program soon.
Visit NAHS’ website, northamptonhistorical.org, to donate items for the collection or make a monetary donation.
