L. Carol Reinert, 82, from Lenhartsville, died Aug. 10, 2020, in Laurel Center, Hamburg.
She and her husband, Donald W. Reinert, would have been married for 60 years on Aug. 13.
Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Clifford B. and Lillian (Clay) Miller.
She graduated from the Tamaqua Area High School in 1956 and the former Allentown Hospital School of Nursing, as a registered nurse in 1960.
She was a nurse at the former Allentown General Hospital, Easton Area Hospital and the Laurel Center Nursing Home.
A member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, she taught Sunday School for more than 20 years and helped with the Women of the Church.
She belonged to both the Albany Township and Weisenberg Lowhill historical societies.
She was a leader with the Kempton 4-H Club and a member of the Claussville Garden Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Lisa Reinert of Quakertown; sons Wayne Reinert of Lenhartsville and Paul Reinert and wife, Mary, of Kensington, Conn.; grandchildren Michelle and Cynthia Reinert of Connecticut; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Warren, and his wife, Renee.
Visitation will take place 5:30-7 p.m. Aug. 14 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville.
There will be a private family service. Interment at Weisenberg Lutheran Church Cemetery.
