Derrick L. Blaine, 64, of Lower Macungie Township, died Aug. 6, 2020, at home. He was the husband of Filomena (Ruiz) Blaine. They were married for nearly 20 years. Born in East Orange, N.J., he was the son of Frances (Griffin) Blaine and the late Richard Blaine.
He worked as a truck driver for various companies.
He was an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife; his mother, of Acworth, Ga.; brothers, Jeffery Alan, of Georgia, Richard Garth, of South Carolina; sisters, Karen Andrews and Robin Ann Major, both of Georgia; nieces and nephews.
A calling period will be held 1 to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown. Memorial services will be private. Burial with military honors will be held 9:30 a.m. Aug. 14 at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Indiantown Gap Road, Annville. Masks are required for those attending services. Arrangements were made by the Trexler Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
