FEED THE CHILDREN, Bethlehem is looking for volunteers to help sort Avon product so it can be put into boxes for children and families in need. Masks will not be provided; you will need to bring your own. They will provide gloves. It is important to maintain social distancing rules. You must be able to stand for three hours at a time and will need to be able to lift 15-25 pounds. Please bring your own water/drinks, and no food will be allowed. Children 11-15 years of age can volunteer with parental supervision. You must go to https://feedthechildren.volunteerhub.com/ to register for the date(s) that you would like to attend. If you do not register through the link you are not registered for the event.

INDEPENDENT TRANSPORTATION NETWORK LEHIGH VALLEY provides 24/7 door through door ride service for seniors age 60 and over and visually impaired adults to any destination in the Lehigh Valley. In order to provide this service, they need volunteer drivers to help with the increasing demand for rides. All rides in Lehigh Valley only. Drive when and where you want. No minimum hours required. LEHIGH COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY, Bethlehem is currently looking for volunteers to help care for four cats that will be up for adoption at PetSmart in Bethlehem. They need two volunteers for each 8-10 a.m. shift and 5-7 p.m. shift. Volunteer for one or more shifts throughout the month of August. Each shift would feed, clean, scoop, and socialize with the cats. Min. age 14 with adult supervision.

MUSEUM OF INDIAN CULTURE, Allentown is looking for volunteers to clean up the gardens at the Museum of Indian Culture and get it ready for a small Artifact show on Aug. 15. They would be able to accommodate helpers weekdays or weekends for this social distancing and fun way to connect with nature and get service hours. They are looking for help throughout the week, Monday-Sunday 10-4. All ages and group sizes welcomed; under 16 must come with parents. Tools available but welcome to bring your own.
