Kenneth Hower Wohlbach, 80, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and formerly of Hellertown, died June 21, 2020, at home. Born in Lower Saucon, he was a son of the late Kenneth Kunsman Wohlbach and the late Mary Anna (Hower) Wohlbach Reily and stepparents, Stuart C. Reily and Betty (Valcuz) Vargovich Reily.
He was the husband of Carol June (Entz) Wohlbach since 1961.
He attended Hellertown H.S.
He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1958 and retired as a Sr. Master Sgt. (E8) in 1982.
He worked for the Federal Aviation Control Center and then transferred to the U.S. Air Force at Schriver AFB, Colorado Springs, Colorado. He then was a network operations supervisor (GS-13) for the Air Force Satellite Control Network. He retired from Civil Service in 2001.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, June Wohlbach of Bedford, Texas, Sergeant Jill Wohlbach of Colorado Springs Police Force and Erin Wohlbach; son Wayne Wohlbach and only grandchild, Wyatt Oliver Wohlbach of Chugiak, Arkansas; three sisters, Beverely (Reily) Fegley and her husband Barry and Elaine (Reily) Smodish, all of Bethlehem; and Dawn (Reily) Dumas and her husband Preston of Round Rock, Texas; a sister-in-law, Linda (Janney) Reily of Allentown; aunts, Laura (Wohlbach) Momich of Springtown, Virginia Hower of Kreidersville, Harriet Reily and “Betty” Reily, both of Florida; and an uncle, Harry Wohlbach and his wife Beverly of Macungie; and cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother, Stuart H. Reily; a brother-in-law, Ernest Smodish; two uncles, Ralph and Howard Wohlbach; and an aunt, Mabel Lindenmoyer; and Hower and Reily family aunts and uncles.
