Mabel M. Bunk, 92, of Northampton, died July 26, 2020. She was the wife of the late Harold T. Bunk.
Born in Schoenersville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Musco) Sterner.
She was a homemaker all her life.
She was a long time member of the former Christ Lutheran Church, Schoenersville. She was a member of the church’s Jolly Gadgeters Kitchen Band until the church’s closing.
She was a main character for many years in the long running play “Breath of Spring” at the Pennsylvania Playhouse, Bethlehem. She was active for many years with fund drives for the March of Dimes in the Lehigh Valley.
She is survived by two daughters, Rita R. Woroniak and her companion Wayne of Millsboro, Del., and Valeria A. and her husband Eugene Dashuta of Northampton; two sons, Joseph G. and his wife Kathryn of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Curtis H. of Kunkletown; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Paul Sterner; and a sister, Edith Smith.
