Lee W. Heintzelman, 86, of New Tripoli, died on July 31, 2020, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.
He and his wife, Gloria M. (Rauch) Heintzelman, were married 53 years.
Born June 29, 1934, in North Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late George M. and Edna L. (Fetherolf) Heintzelman.
He was a vehicle inspector at Mack Trucks Inc., Macungie from 1971-90.
In his younger years, he worked on the family farm in Ballietsville.
He was a licensed pilot and a former member of the Slatington/Lehigh Valley Flying Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Susan B. Lynn (Raymond) of Bethlehem, Michael J. Heintzelman (Carmen) of Georgia, Julie K. Servia (James) of Delaware; sister Ruth M. Fenstermaker (Forrest) of Virginia; and eight grandchildren.
He was predeceased by siblings Mark, Allen and Carl Heintzelman and Evelyn Custer.
A private graveside service will be held at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs. There will be no public calling hours.
