Simple assault

Amy Kirchhofer, 43, of Emmaus, was arrested July 25 for alleged simple assault and harassment after an incident in the 900 block of Buttonwood Street, according to Emmaus police. Kirchhofer was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.

David D. Blank, 44, of Emmaus, was arrested July 17 for alleged simple assault and harassment after a dispute in the 600 block of Minor Street, according to Emmaus police. Blank was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.

DUI

Mathew Dale Walsh, 23, of Emmaus, was arrested July 12 for allegedly driving under the influence, careless driving, restrictions on alcoholic beverages and possession of a controlled substance in the 200 block of Furnace Street, according to Emmaus police.

Resisting arrest

William A. Lyons Sr., 44, of Emmaus, was arrested July 24 for allegedly resisting arrest and disorderly conduct in the unit block of South Fifth Street, according to Emmaus police.

Retail theft

A male entered CVS Pharmacy, 702 Chestnut St. and removed items valued at $198.27, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 23.
