Coplay Public Library: Register now for Imagi Nation program at Coplay library

There are still a few spaces for the Imagi Nation program, an entertainment-educational experience. The program will be held 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 15 at the library. A group of educators will lead kids, ages 3 to 12, through the program using costumes, props and other activities.

Children can have fun while learning what it’s like to be a construction worker, engineer, plumber or work in other professions. Along the way, they’ll learn critical social skills that everyone needs, such as problem solving, decision making and teamwork.

To learn more about Imagi Nation, visit the website at imaginationexp.com.

The Imagi Nation program will be held outdoors. There will be a tent, so light rain will be fine. The organization reserves the right to postpone the event to another date.

For more information and registration, call the library at 610-262-7351 or register on the library’s website, coplaypubliclibrary.org. Participation is limited to 25 due to COVID-19 guidelines.

We’re open to the public at 50-percent capacity for borrowing and returning materials, reading, research and computer use. Two computers are available for public use. Reserve a computer by calling or emailing in advance. While usage is limited to 30 minutes, you are welcome to stay on a computer if no one is waiting.

While you are in the building, wear a mask, practice social distancing and sanitize your hands when entering and leaving.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping all of us safe and healthy.

For your safety, all incoming materials are now quarantined for four days and are sanitized before being released for circulation.

It’s not too late for children to join Summer Quest 2020: Imagine Your Story! The program doesn’t end until Aug. 29, so there’s plenty of time to earn badges while participating in many fun and instructive activities.

The program is live on our webpage and Facebook through Beanstack. We’ve just added new clues for the scavenger hunt to keep you searching. You will find other challenges that include coloring, reading and more that will help you zoom right through the summer.

Individuals and families can register - the program has exciting adventures for everyone. Reading and activity logs are there, too. You can also sign up for the program and pick up all the materials at the library during open hours.

If you are already participating in the program and need more activities, we have grab-and-go bags filled with fun things for you. Just stop in during open hours.
