Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will be having a taco bar event, including the famous dessert bar, 4-7 p.m. Aug. 15. This event is sponsored by the Holy Trinity youth.

This is primarily a takeout event, and the church will be using the recommended precautions such as masks, social distancing and no self-service. The serving line will be outdoors, weather permitting, and the church will have limited seating outdoors.

Tickets will not be sold. The event is by donation, in keeping with Holy Trinity’s desire to include the entire community in its dinners. Proceeds will be used to continue to sponsor a South African child, Linathi, through World Vision.

Holy Trinity’s youth hopes to see a lot of their Catasauqua neighbors at the taco bar.

The event will happen rain or shine. Please remember to wear your masks.
