Carolyn S. Partenope, 51, of Alburtis, died Aug. 1, 2020, at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Bethlehem campus. She was the wife of Matthew Partenope for four years last month. Born in Manchester, England, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Iris (Prescott) Higginson.

She was a school bus driver, as well as a trainer, for Student Transportation of America. Prior to that she was a certified nursing assistant for Holy Family Manor for many years.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Faye, Hannah and Morgan Ebert, all of Alburtis; stepsons, Matt and his wife, Colleen, of Brick, N.J., Nicholas and his fiancée, Jenny Staton, of Annapolis, Md.; a brother, Graham Kametler and his wife, Shelley, of Wake Forest, N.C.; a sister, Jeanette Phillips, of Manchester, England; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church Street, Fogelsville. A private funeral service will be held. The number of people allowed inside the building at the same time will be limited and people must wear face masks and social distancing will occur.
