Accident
An 8-year-old boy was hurt when his bicycle struck a car at the intersection of North Hedgerow Drive and Barnside Court, Lower Macungie Township, June 27. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the boy was traveling east on the sidewalk parallel to Hedgerow Drive at approximately 7 p.m. when he turned his bicycle onto the road, striking a vehicle driven by a 41-year-old male, of Allentown. The boy hurt his right elbow in the accident. The driver walked the boy to his residence, which was across the street, where the driver told the boy’s parents what happened. The crash left minor paint damage to the passenger side rear fender and bent the front wheel of the bicycle, according to police.
Lost property

A resident of the 5000 block of Dartmouth Drive, Lower Macungie Township, returned from vacation July 19 to find personal belongings, including his guitar, television and previously used cellphones were damaged, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Scattering rubbish
A quantity of trash was found in the 7900 block of Quarry Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:50 a.m. July 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Identifying information was found in the trash and the investigation into the incident continues.
Theft
An unknown person removed a black Ceska Zbrojovka 9 mm handgun, valued at $400 and $200 in cash from a location in the 1600 block of Pinewind Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 2 p.m. June 24 and 4 p.m. June 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
An unknown person rerouted unemployment checks from a residence at Arbordeau Lane, Lower Macungie Township, between May 25 and June 2.
A resident of the 1000 block of Divot Drive reported her stimulus check was stolen. The incident was reported June 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 78-year-old male resident of the 4600 block of Hale Lane, Upper Milford Township, reported his late wife’s rings had been stolen between May 1 and 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Investigators located the rings in a pawn shop where the male allegedly had told another person to sell the jewelry.
A check likely was removed from a mailbox at a residence along Aster Road, Lower Macungie Township and altered. A resident reported placing outgoing mail in her mailbox April 13. When the resident reviewed her bank statement May 16 she discovered a fraudulent transaction of more than $4,275 was made using her checking account and a check mailed April 13 had not arrived at its intended destination. Theft from vehicle
An unknown person smashed a passenger side window to remove a wallet from a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. May 22. Nothing else was removed or disturbed, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The total amount taken was approximately $200 and the estimate of damage to the vehicle was $400. An unknown person removed $208.50 in coins from a vehicle parked in the 7000 block of Blossom Lane, Lower Milford Township, between 4:30 p.m. May 20 and 10:30 a.m. May 21. The coins were on the front passenger seat of the vehicle, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Harassment
A 42-year-old female, of Lower Macungie Township, allegedly shoved another person to the ground during a dispute at a residence in the 1800 block of Pinewood Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 1 p.m. July 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The female fled the fight scene and was later located at a business along Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township.
A 36-year-old male, of Philadelphia, allegedly flicked a cigarette into the face of a 32-year-old female, of Alburtis, who allegedly shoved the male in the chest during an argument at a location along Mertztown Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:40 p.m. July 13, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Criminal trespass
A resident of the 7000 block of Tuscany Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported a male was in her residence without her authorization. Troopers determined the male to be under the influence and underage. The male’s father was called to the residence and took custody of the male, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A male was seen trespassing on the back porch of a residence along Leh Street, Lower Milford Township, 4:48 p.m. July 7. The male was described as in his early 20s with dark brown curly hair and wearing black pants and a black T-shirt. He left the area when confronted by the resident of the house, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Theft of services
Boxes of spoiled produce were found in a dumpster owned by Long Ridge Construction, Altoona, at a construction site at Scenic View Drive and Gehman Road, Lower Macungie Township, May 27. Theft by deception
A resident of Woodmont Circle, Lower Macungie Township, sent money to an unknown person for a video game console. She later asked for a refund of the money after becoming suspicious of the transaction. The incident was reported 7:21 p.m. July 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Drug possession
A 28-year-old male, of Hazleton, allegedly had marijuana and related paraphernalia during a traffic stop at Mill Creek Road and Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 11:39 a.m. July 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
DUI
Jordan Jennifer Kurlansik, 41, of Coopersburg, allegedly was operating her vehicle while under the influence at the intersection of South Cedar Crest Boulevard and North Street in Emmaus borough 10:58 p.m. June 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
