Catasauqua Garden Club will meet 1 p.m. Aug. 5 at the George Taylor House, Lehigh and Poplar streets.

There is no featured speaker planned; however, the group may learn a little bit more about George Taylor, signer of the Declaration of Independence and his home.

Artistic and horticultural entries are encouraged, but there will be no judges.

The meeting will be outside, so social distancing will not be a problem. Masks are required though.

No food will be provided, but drinks will be available.

This may turn out to be a very relaxed exchange of gardening successes, hints and tips - and, of course, a chance to see all and enjoy a break away from home.

The Weekenders will perform July 31.
