Helen E. Griffith, 87, of Allentown, formerly of Philadelphia, died July 18, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband, John R. Griffith, were married 66 years.

Born Oct. 28, 1932, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Emma Catherine (Whitcomb) Price.

She was a bookkeeper at Martin, Bradbury and Griffith, Allentown, for several years before retiring.

Active in the life of her church, she was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall, where she formerly served as treasurer, prayer quilter and recorded obituary memoriams.

She was an active member of the Red Hat Society.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her brother, William Price of New York City, N.Y.; brothers-in-law Robert Griffith and his wife, Wenche, of Harleysville, and Rick Griffith and his wife, Donna, of Warrington; and extended family nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
