Lehigh Township

At 6:04 a.m. July 13, Lehigh Township Police Department executed a search warrant at 1336 Walnut Drive, Danielsville.

The search warrant concluded a monthlong drug delivery investigation by Lehigh Township police in cooperation with Northampton County Drug Task Force.

Police had received information regarding dealing of illegal drugs at the residence and conducted an investigation.

The investigation led to the arrest of Dale Hammerstone, 62, of that residence, and the seizure of 11 firearms, $21,884 in cash, marijuana packaged for resale, Xanax, Oxycodone pills, digital scales and other drug packaging materials.

Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team assisted with warrant service. The police department’s K-9, Cash, also assisted with the drug search in the residence.

Hammerstone was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Robert Hawke. Bail was set at $250,000. Hammerstone was remanded to Northampton County Prison.
