Coplay Public Library: Summer romance is this month’s book club theme
The next Coplay Public Library book club meeting is 6-6:30 p.m. July 29.
The Zoom meeting link, ID and password can be found in the book club group on the library’s Facebook page.
If you always wanted to join a book club but couldn’t find the time or didn’t want to read a book chosen for you, check out our club. We select a genre, author or theme for the next meeting that will correspond to our members’ preferences. There is no required reading.

A team from Imagi Nation, Allentown, will be at the library 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 15. Participation is limited to 25, including staff, due to COVID-19 guidelines.
A group of experienced educators will lead kids, ages 3-12, in a mini-version of the on-site educational experience of the pint-size “city” they created.
Children will be able to explore what a real-life career or job might be like. Through the use of costumes, props and other activities, your child can have fun pretending to be a dentist, plumber, stock person, recycling engineer, fireman and more. Along the way, they’ll learn critical social skills everyone needs, such as problem solving, decision making and working together as a team.

The Imagi Nation program will be held outdoors. There will be a tent, so light rain will be OK. The organization reserves the right to postpone the event to another date.

It’s not too late to join Summer Quest 2020: Imagine Your Story. The program is live on our Web page and Facebook through Beanstack.
There are many activities including coloring, scavenger hunts and reading to make this summer amazing. Reading and activity logs are there, too.
Individuals and families can register. The program has exciting challenges for everyone.
If you need more activities - and who doesn’t? - we have reusable bags filled with fun things to do. The bags are ready to be picked up whenever the library is open.
