Animals are available for adoption at the Center for Animal Health & Welfare no-kill shelter, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton. The shelter is working to end pet overpopulation by running a clinic so animals can be spayed or neutered before they go home. They are also hosting a Day of Action Aug. 1 and 2 to help clear out the shelter of clutter and to get organized. They are limiting spaces due to COVID-19, but still have plenty of open availability. Anyone interested in helping can register via a sign-up genius located on the Facebook page.
Daphne, an English mastiff, is about 6 years old. She is very sweet and loving, but can be shy at first. Daphne is looking for a new family to give her love and attention. Daphne would do best in a home that doesn't have any cats or young children.
