Many locally-owned businesses were open July 7 in South Whitehall Township.
These included the Goodwill shop in Tilghman Square, Lehigh Valley Jewelry and Exchange, Crest Plaza; The Parkland Restaurant, 2702 Walbert Ave., and Digital Photographic Imaging, 1319 N. 18th St.
Most restaurants in the township have opened and are using social distancing to help protect customers from the coronavirus.
Retail and specialty businesses are requiring customers to wear protective masks while shopping in their establishments, as well as striving for social distancing.
