Whitehall Township Public Library: Whitehall library open by appointment only beginning July 16
Whitehall Township Public Library remains closed to the public for walk-ins. Library personnel will continue to follow the Office of Commonwealth Libraries and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
Call 610-432-4339 for more information.
Starting July 16, patrons will be able to call the library to schedule an appointment to browse the materials collection one hour per day or patrons may sign up to use a computer for up to two hours per day, pending availability of time slots.
All patrons should wear a face covering for the duration of their appointment time, unless they have a medical condition that prevents them from doing so.
Patrons must use hand sanitizer when entering the library. There are three hand sanitizer locations in the library.
Do not schedule appointments if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, including cough, fever and sneezing. Patrons should follow social-distancing protocol for the duration of their appointment time.
Five minutes before their appointment time, patrons should come to the main entrance and inform the staff of your appointment.

The library staff has been busy cleaning and preparing for this soft opening. This means limited patrons, limited staff and limited hours this month and possibly through August.
All items must be returned in the yellow book drop boxes in the parking lot, not in the library. All items in the drop box will be in quarantine for three days and then checked back into the system.
Library staff encourages patrons to continue utilizing the curbside pickup process. Call the library for help or visit the website. Once you place the holds, we will call you to schedule a pickup at the library. We are limiting the holds to 15 items per person per day. This includes books, DVDs, books on CD and music CDs.
Curbside pickup is 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and then 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday.
The hours are subject to change depending on staff availability.
