Shippensburg University
Chad O’Donnell, of Northampton, was named to the dean’s list for the 2020 spring semester at the John L. Grove College of Business at Shippensburg University. O’Donnell also graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration on marketing.
He was a 2016 graduate of Northampton Area High School.
Only about 25 percent of the students in the Grove College of Business earned this honor for the latest semester.
A reception to honor all business majors named to the dean’s list will be held during the next academic year.
York College of Pa
More than 1,700 students were named to the dean’s list at York College of Pennsylvania. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Located in south-central Pennsylvania, York College offers more than 70 baccalaureate majors in professional programs, the sciences and humanities to its 4,100 undergraduate students. The college also offers master’s programs in business, education and nursing and a doctorate in nursing practice.

Alpha Alpha Alpha was founded in 2018 at Moravian College. The following year, Muhlenberg began a chapter, becoming the Delta, or fourth, chapter of Tri-Alpha in the country, and inducting the college’s inaugural members April 26, 2019.
Founded in 1848, Muhlenberg is a highly selective, private, four-year residential, liberal arts college offering baccalaureate and graduate programs. With an enrollment of approximately 2,200 students, Muhlenberg College is dedicated to shaping creative, compassionate, collaborative leaders through rigorous academic programs in the arts, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences; selected preprofessional programs, including accounting, business, education and public health; and progressive workforce-focused post-baccalaureate certificates and master’s degrees. Located in Allentown, Muhlenberg is a member of the Centennial Conference, competing in 22 varsity sports. Muhlenberg is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Lebanon Valley College
Elliot Miller, of Whitehall and a graduate of Whitehall High School, received a Bachelor of Science in business administration.
Additionally, Miller is one of more than 850 Lebanon Valley College students named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester. Dean’s list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.
Lebanon Valley College offers bachelor’s degrees in the arts and humanities, business and communications, education, health professions, social sciences and psychology and science, technology, engineering and math. Advanced health professions degrees include master of athletic training, master of clinical mental health counseling, master of science in exercise science (three tracks), master of speech-language pathology and a doctor of physical therapy.
University of Scranton
Theresa Anne Koch, of Whitehall, was among the 30 members of the University of Scranton’s Class of 2020 who graduated from its undergraduate honors program, which is one of the Jesuit university’s programs of excellence. Students in the honors program pursue a rigorous education that stresses independent work through close engagement with professors and other honors students, including the preparation, presentation and defense of a research or creative project during their senior year.
Koch worked with Robert F. Waldeck, Ph.D., associate professor of biology, on a thesis titled “The effect of Dextromethorphan on retinal neurons in developing zebrafish larvae.” Koch majored in neuroscience.
Bloomsburg University
Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania congratulates the more than 2,850 students who were named to the spring 2020 dean’s list. A full-time student whose semester GPA is 3.5 or higher in 12 or more semester hours of course work for which a grade or grades are received are named to the dean’s list.

Saint Francis University
Vincent Bet, of Whitehall and an environmental engineering major, was named to the dean’s list at Saint Francis University. Bet was among more than 700 students who earned a spot on one of the honors lists for the spring 2020 semester. Students who receive an honors distinction must have full-time status and attain a quality-point average of 4.0 (president’s) or 3.5 (dean’s) on 12 or more credits during a single semester, with no continuing or incomplete grades.
