Vacation Bible School will be held 6:30-8 p.m. Aug. 3, 5 and 7 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road.

The theme is “Knights on the North Castle.” The church will have a play/skit and lesson appropriate for all age groups, a sing along/music, take-home craft and snack.

Due to COVID-19 and social-distancing practices currently in place, parents must remain with their children. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on as the group plans to be outside.

The church asks for patience as members and volunteers work through the details in this new way of doing things for 2020.

Update: First Presbyterian Church of Hokendauqua has announced outdoor worship services will not continue.

“After some discussion, we’ve (church council/members) made the decision to suspend outdoor worship and resume only livestreaming Sunday mornings for the summer,” the church’s Facebook page says. “Please join us [online] 10 a.m. Sundays as we worship God together.”
