The Emmaus Public Library reopened to patrons July 6. Masks are required to enter and patrons are asked to maintain social distancing and limit their visit to an hour, among other safety protocols. The number of available computers will be reduced to keep within safety guidelines.
Library hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. High-risk patrons are invited to visit the library 10 to 11 a.m. Thursdays.
Curbside pickup will continue for patrons who prefer to remain outdoors. Items can be requested by email at emmauspl@cliu.org, by phone at 610-965-9284 or through the patron’s account online.
Library materials can be returned through book drops located in the library parking lot, at the Macungie Borough Hall (21 Locust St., Macungie) and at the Upper Milford Township building (5671 Chestnut St., Zionsville). Upon return, items are kept in quarantine for three days.
