4-H SUMMER DAY CAMPS
Youth ages 8 to 18, as of Jan. 1, are invited to attend one or more 4-H Summer Day Camps.
Opportunities for learning about Pennsylvania Dutch foods, where food comes from, computer science, babysitting, fishing, pets, science fun in the kitchen, plant science, and pollinators, and more are available through virtual camp options. Each camp will run Monday through Thursday. Sessions are held 9 to 10:30 a.m. or 1 to 2:30 p.m. These camps are free to currently enrolled 4-H members. There is a fee for new 4-H members.
Virtual 4-H Day Camps include:
•From Farm to Fork 4-H Day Camp – July 13 to 16, morning session
•Computer Science: Think… Plan… Play! 4-H Day Camp – July 13 to 16, afternoon session
•Babysitting Basics 4-H Day Camp – July 13 to 16, afternoon session
•Take the Bait and Go Outdoors! 4-H Day Camp – July 20 to 23, morning session
•Pet Parade 4-H Day Camp – July 20 to 23, afternoon session
•Science Fun in Your Kitchen 4-H Day Camp – July 27 to 30, morning session
•Plant Science: Growing with 4-H! 4-H Day Camp – July 27 to 30, afternoon session
•What’s All the BUZZ About? 4-H Day Camp – Aug. 3 to 6, morning session
Self-guided project sessions also are offered including:
•Cultured Curiosity 4-H Project – July 13 to 17
•Simple Machines- Engineering Design 4-H Project – July 20 to 24
•Cloverbud STEM 4-H Project (for ages 5 and older to work with an adult or teen) – July 27 to 31
