Mary L. Bishop, 88, of Salisbury Township, died on June 22, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late George W. “Bill” Bishop Jr.

Born in South Whitehall, she was a daughter of the late Tilghman C. and Ella G. (Butz) King.

She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall Township.

A 1950 graduate of Allentown High School and a 1954 graduate of Kutztown Teachers College, she taught for several years in the Parkland School District.

Her survivors include nephews Robert Brunner, and Thomas and Stephen Bishop; nieces Karen and Laura Brunner, Jane Degruchy and Brooke Bishop.

She was predeceased by her sister, Catherine E. Brunner.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church, 1837 Church Road, Allentown, PA 18104.
