Edna M. Warmkessel, 94, of Coplay, formerly of Schnecksville, died June 28, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Erwin J. Warmkessel.

Born May 5, 1926, in Longswamp Township, Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Grover J. and Eva M. (Latchaw) Guldin.

She owned and operated the former Edna’s Beauty Shop, Schnecksville, for 20 years and Catasauqua for five years.

She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

Her survivors include a sister Elda C. Laudenslager of Allentown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Richard E. “Rick” Warmkessel.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. July 2 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Schnecksville with the Rev. James W. Schlegel officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at St. John’s Union Cemetery, Mickleys, Whitehall.
