St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church parish is planning to hold a drive-thru chicken dinner 4-6 p.m. July 29.

The meal includes half of a chicken, corn on the cob, baked potato, coleslaw, roll with butter and dessert. This meal is fully prepared by Fairview House Catering.

Only 250 meals will be sold, so you must order promptly. All orders are due by July 22.

Pickup is in the parking lot at 435 Pershing Blvd.

Your dinner will be handed directly to you.

Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative needs volunteers - minimum age 16 with parent - noon-1 p.m. every Wednesday at the pantry at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 835 N. Third St.

Volunteers will unload food from the Second Harvest Food Bank truck and reload the truck for the Coplay food distribution. There is an efficient production line.

Face masks are required.
