Whitehall High School is proud to announce the hiring of Will Robertson as its next head coach in girls basketball.
Coach Robertson is no stranger to Lehigh Valley high school athletics. Robertson has served as the Parkland jumps coach in track and field, coaching three PIAA champs and 24 District XI champs. He is a former head coach in cross country, boys volleyball, and girls volleyball as well.
He has extensive basketball coaching experience, assisting Wes Spence in the girls program at Parkland and Tony Marsicano in the boys’ program at Parkland. He is a graduate of Whitehall High School and Penn State University.
“We are very excited to name Will Robertson as our next head coach in girls’ basketball,” said Whitehall AD Bob Hartman. “One of the things that impressed in the committee most was Will’s preparedness and passion to lead the girls basketball program at Whitehall. He was very detailed and informed on the state of our program and what he felt he needs to do to get it to the level of our expectations. He laid out a concise and clear plan for the girls basketball program. Coach viewed our job as a job he was passionate about and will be putting together a first rate staff, with a collection of some talented individuals as well as some new fresh faces in to our program. We look forward to Coach Robertson getting started with our program and returning Whitehall girls basketball to a position of success.”
