Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714 and Boy Scout Troop 93, Northampton, will conduct a U.S. flag retirement ceremony 6 p.m. June 14 at the flag memorial site in the 1200 block of Canal Street.

The public is invited to attend.

The electronics recycling event planned for June 13 at Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave., has been canceled.

Registration for the Northampton Area Food Bank is 9:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesdays.

The food bank, 1601 Canal St., is accepting monetary donations as well as nonperishable items.
