A driver was hurt when his motorcycle struck a trailer in a hit-and-run accident April 19 along Interstate 78 in Salisbury Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 29-year-old male, of Souderton, was driving a 2017 Harley-Davidson Road King motorcycle eastbound near mile marker 59 6:02 p.m. and directly behind a tractor trailer when he attempted to pass the truck on the right. Both vehicles were traveling in the middle lane of the highway. The motorcycle struck the rear bumper of the truck trailer. The collision disabled the motorcycle and the truck left the scene, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries in the accident.
