Mayor Thomas Reenock proclaimed June 5 National Gun Awareness Day in the borough and encourages all residents to wear orange to help raise awareness about gun violence in our communities.
“Orange is the color that symbolizes the value of human life,” Reenock said, urging residents to “renew our commitment to reduce gun violence and pledge to do all we can to keep firearms out of the wrong hands and encourage responsible gun ownership to keep our children safe.”
