The Northwestern Lehigh Athletic Department is proud to welcome Coach Jerry Lloyd to the Tiger Family.
Coach Lloyd was approved unanimously by our school board last year to serve as our new head boys basketball coach.
Coach Lloyd brings extensive experience to Northwestern Lehigh as both a player and a coach.
Coach Lloyd was a standout player for Whitehall High School where he earned numerous accolades include induction into the Whitehall Hall of Fame, scored 1,500 career points, was a McDonald’s All-American, East Penn Conference MVP and Morning Call Player of the Year.
While at Whitehall, he helped the Zephyrs win two East Penn Conference Titles and a District XI title in 1997.
After high school, Coach Lloyd went on to play for Mount St. Mary’s on a full scholarship. He left his mark at Mount St. Mary’s where he was selected as a captain his senior year and became the fifth all-time three-point scorer in school history, scoring over 800 points in his Division I career.
His coaching experience is equally impressive with stops at DeSales University, Bethlehem Catholic, Easton, and Northampton where he served as an assistant coach.
Coach Lloyd has served as the head boys basketball varsity coach for the Phillipsburg Stateliners since 2017.
