In the May 13 edition of The Press, there was a meeting story from the Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners where a resident raised concerns about the library tax.
The resident received a 2020 real estate tax bill and noticed a 52 percent increase which included the library tax.
The resident asked for clarification and asked how much of the increase is attributed to borrowing for the community center addition and how much is attributed to township land purchase.
