Coplay Recreation and Welfare Association has gone outdoors with its food pantry. The association has set up tables outside borough hall, 98 S. Fourth St., this week for its 34 clients.
The move outdoors is prompted by the lockdown of the borough hall caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Rick Hess, association president, said there has not been an increase in clients on its rolls. However, the food bank is in need of restocking. Items needed include pasta and canned vegetables, soup and tuna.
