A 25-year-old male, of Macungie, was cited for simple trespass after police responded for a complaint of an unwanted person to Weis Markets, 3269 Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, noon April 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 28-year-old male was fatally injured in a one-vehicle accident in Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Forensics Center.

Jonathan W. Cabrera, of Allentown, was pronounced dead by Deputy Coroner Craig Hanzl at 8:14 a.m. May 10 at the accident scene in the 5800 block of Lower Macungie Road, according to a media release from the coroner’s office.

The cause of death was determined to be multiple blunt force injuries due to a motor vehicle accident. The manner of death was determined to be an accident, according to the coroner’s office.

A media release from Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville detailed the following: At approximately 7:20 a.m. May 10, police were notified of a vehicle crashed in a wooded area of Lower Macungie Road. The vehicle Cabrera was driving was found overturned.

Investigators determined the vehicle was southbound on Lower Macungie Road when the driver lost control and veered off the road, striking multiple objects and an embankment.

Gerome Gary Phillips, 22, of New York,was taken into custody after allegedly working with another person to place four KitchenAid mixers in a shopping cart, cover the appliances with a towel and attempt to exit Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, April 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A resident of the 2700 block of Sequoia Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported a fraudulent Verizon account was opened 2 p.m. April 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A resident of the 4500 block of North Hedgerow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported unauthorized charges were made on an account 11:17 p.m. April 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A resident of Stonewall Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported a Dell account was opened by fraudulent means 2:05 p.m. April 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. There was no monetary loss to the resident.

A 65-year-old male, of Alburtis, was cited for defiant criminal trespass after he allegedly entered a property in the 7900 block of Creamery Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7 p.m. March 30. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the male had been told not to enter the property.

An unknown person opened the hood of a vehicle and cut electrical wires around the engine between midnight April 22 and 4:12 p.m. April 29, at a residence along Heather Circle East, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $200.

An unknown person smashed multiple mirrors on school buses and two windows of a building at a parking lot in the 8000 block of Salem Bible Church Road, Upper Milford Township, between 1 p.m. April 6 and 9:15 a.m. April 7. A 40-year-old female, of Lower Macungie Township, was cited for harassment after she allegedly threw a speaker at another person during an incident at a residence in the 1200 block of Valley View Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 11:34 p.m. March 31, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle parked at Lehigh Electric Products Co., 6265 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, between midnight March 20 and 1:30 p.m. April 22.

Michael James Rebner, 50, of Macungie, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence when troopers responded to a report of a pickup truck stopped in the intersection of Sauerkraut Lane and Snowberry Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 10:55 p.m. April 17 and found the driver asleep at the wheel, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 43-year-old male, of Ardmore, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after his pickup truck overturned in a one-vehicle accident in the 8700 block of Kings Highway South, Lower Milford Township, 12:45 a.m. April 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

The driver was attempting to negotiate a right curve when he lost control of the vehicle, which crossed through the opposing lane and hit several trees. The vehicle landed on its driver side in the middle of the road.

The driver suffered cuts to his head, eye and hand, according to police.

The pickup truck was towed from the accident scene.

A 22-year-old male, of Allentown, was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after the vehicle he was driving crashed into two telephone poles in a one-vehicle accident in the 2100 block of Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 3:07 a.m. March 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 20-year-old male, of Emmaus, is suspected of driving under the influence after troopers responded to a one-vehicle crash in the 2500 block of Riverbend Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:08 p.m. May 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
