SALISBURY POLICE
Greg James Kuchinos, 36, of Allentown, was taken into custody for alleged simple assault, criminal trespass and related offenses after several encounters with residents April 28, according to Salisbury police. Kuchinos was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.
A catalytic converter, valued at $600, was removed from a vehicle parked at a business in the 1600 block of East Susquehanna Street April 27, according to Salisbury Police.
A resident of the 600 block of East Federal Street reported two checks were removed from his mail and cashed May 2, according to Salisbury police. The total amount of the checks cashed was $7,746.70.
A resident of the 1400 block of Lehigh Avenue reported a dent and scratches to the hood of a vehicle April 19, according to Salisbury police. A medium-sized river rock was found at the scene.
A person attempted to remove coins from a washing machine in an apartment building in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue April 27, according to Salisbury police.
A resident of the 2800 block of Tupelo Street reported a delivery truck drove onto his lawn and damaged his turf in an incident April 27, according to Salisbury police.
A resident of the 1100 block of Webster Avenue noticed a pellet hole in the bow window of a residence April 20, according to Salisbury police.
Salisbury police officers were dispatched to the area of Dodson Park, 1038 Dodson St., for a report of shots fired May 1. Nothing was found in the immediate area, according to Salisbury police.
A resident of the 1300 block of Byfield Street reported receiving a suspicious email from an unknown individual advising the resident her iPad tablet was compromised, allowing camera access to her device and requested a large amount of money via Bitcoin, according to Salisbury police. The resident was advised to secure the email account and change the password.
Salisbury police were dispatched to the 700 block of Harrison Street April 13 to assist the fire department with a situation involving trees down on wires. PPL Utilities crews also responded. Salisbury police also assisted with wires down on Church Road, Black River Road, Bridgets Way, Erney Street and Catherine Avenue.
Salisbury police were dispatched to the 400 block of East Emmaus Avenue for a report of a brush fire. Officers were directed to a tree to the rear of a residential property. Officers used a hose from the residence to battle the fire until firefighters arrived. Eastern Salisbury firefighters put out the fire and secured the area, according to Salisbury police.
