We just don’t know if or when the coronavirus will stop holding us hostage, but one day the playgrounds will reopen and we will be able to laugh and play together again.

New Tripoli Fire Company, New Tripoli, will host its annual Father’s Day chicken barbecue June 21.

Chicken meals are by Kauffman’s Bar-B-Que Restaurant Inc.

Social distancing will be observed.

Northwestern Lehigh Education Foundation will host its first Virtual Tiger Run and Fun Walk on May 23.

The event is completely flexible. Participants choose their pace, place and start time.

Participation is free, but any donations received for the event will help fund educational programs at Northwestern Lehigh School District.

This event encourages health and fitness as well as community spirit.
