“Our LVHN Guest Services team looks forward to warmly welcoming patients. Your COVID-safe patient experience is our top priority,” said Kelley Gold, Manager of Guest Services, LVHN.
LVHN has implemented safety precautions to make valet operations COVID-safe:
Vehicle occupants must wear a face mask when they pull up to valet services unless they have a medical reason for not being able to do so.
Valet attendants will ask that drivers lower the windows of their vehicles to allow for proper air-out time.
LVHN staff are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including face masks, eye protection and single-use gloves.
Valet attendants change their gloves after driving each vehicle.
They also use disposable steering wheel covers and sterilize vehicle keys.
Their work stations are sanitized hourly and the cleaning is logged.
High-touch areas such as the gear shift, handles and window switches are wiped down with disinfectant before the vehicle is returned to the
patient or visitor. A steering wheel tag indicates that a vehicle was sanitized.
To maintain social distancing, markers on the pavement ensure patients and visitors stay six feet apart when waiting for their vehicle to be retrieved.
If a patient or visitor chooses to self-park and requires assistance, valet attendants will provide a wheelchair at their vehicle.
