An unknown person entered a residence in the 1800 block of Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township and removed items with a total value of $3,145 between midnight April 17 and 4:37 p.m. April 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Items removed included various table saws, a propane heater and multiple tools.
A resident of the 4300 block of Mill Road, Upper Milford Township, reported an unknown person shot and wounded a cat with a pellet. The incident is believed to have happened between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. April 8 when the cat was outside, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The wound was discovered when the pet was unable to put weight on a front paw. An examination by a veterinarian revealed a projectile in the animal’s front leg, which then had to be amputated. A 33-year-old female, of Quakertown, allegedly punched another person in the 8200 block of Milky Way, Lower Milford Township, 7:06 p.m. April 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
A resident of the 5500 block of West Mill Road, Lower Milford Township, reported his mail and a package containing lug nuts valued at $37.86, were removed from a mailbox between 11:30 a.m. April 24 and 7:15 a.m. April 25. A bag from a nearby fast food restaurant was found in the mailbox and a receipt in the bag led police to surveillance footage of a vehicle at the fast food restaurant. The vehicle is described by Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville as a silver Volkswagen Passat sedan.
An unknown person removed a wallet from an unattended stopping cart at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, April 20. The person then used a debit card from the wallet at several locations to make multiple purchases for several thousand dollars, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A resident of the 7500 block of Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, reported an unknown person used the resident’s credit card information to purchase items online with a PayPal account Feb. 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. There was no monetary loss for the resident.
A resident of Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, reported a phone scam Feb. 10 in which the resident sent $900 in Bitcoin currency to another person, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A resident of the 5500 block of Greens Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported loss of a total of $580 in two transactions after attempting to purchase concert tickets on an online classifieds site Feb. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A resident of the 7000 block of Hunt Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported paying $800 for services never received in an incident Jan. 25. The resident told Pennsylvania State Police he was scammed after inquiring about a cat adoption through a scam website.
A resident of the 4100 block of Salem Drive, Upper Milford Township, reported Jan. 17 an unknown person opened TJ Maxx and Sprint accounts under the resident’s name without the resident’s knowledge.
A resident of Woodmont Lane, Lower Macungie Township, reported a person used the resident’s information to open a Target Red Card in the resident’s name Nov. 12, 2019. The person attempted to use the card at a self-checkout register at Target, 912 Airport Center Road, Hanover Township, Nov. 14, 2019. The transaction was declined.
A resident of Urffers Road, Lower Milford Township, reported an unknown person attempted to move the resident’s cellphone number to a different mobile carrier Dec. 28, 2019, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A resident of the 1000 block of Treeline Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported an unknown person obtained the personal information of the resident and a relative and then requested a credit report be sent to the resident’s former address Jan. 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
A resident of Miriam Drive, Upper Milford Township, reported an unknown person hacked into the resident’s work email account and requested a change of the resident’s direct deposit service to a different bank account between Jan. 17 and Feb. 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The resident was reimbursed by the company.
