Upper Macungie police have issued a theft advisory for area residents.

According to Crime and Community Services Division Commander Lt. Peter Nickischer, two residents reported April 28 that their vehicles were broken into at Valley Preferred Cycling Center, 1151 Mosser Road, Trexlertown.

According to Nickischer, the windows on two vehicles were broken sometime between 3:05-4:05 p.m. and personal items belonging to two individuals were taken.

Residents are reminded to place valuables out of sight when their vehicles are unoccupied.
