Lily’s Hope aids families with preemies

Lily’s Hope Foundation is still committed to answering the emergency needs of families with premature babies in the Lehigh Valley and beyond.

Although the foundation had to cancel its spring fundraisers, an event called #ShareHopeSaturday is ongoing through May 16.

Every Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon, curbside service is available at the office at 1148 S Cedar Crest Blvd., lower level, Salisbury Township.

For this event, supporters are urged to participate in a supply drive through the help of social media to help them gather hard to find items for Lily’s Hope families.

These items are key for families with fragile newborns. Lily’s Hope usually includes hand sanitizer, hand soap, paper towels, baby wipes, etc. in their care packages.

At the same time, they are also offering their Lily’s Hope families to come to the office and pick up their care packages.

There is a table at the end of the office walkway and people are asked to beep or call when they arrive and Lily’s Hope staff will meet them outside.

“The first event was awesome,” Jennifer M. Driscoll, MBA, founder/executive director with Lily’s Hope Foundation said. “As an all-volunteer nonprofit, we are grateful for your support.”

For information, contact Jen Driscoll at Jen@LilysHopeFoundation.org or call 267-776-HOPE.
