Lily’s Hope aids families with preemies

Lily’s Hope Foundation is still committed to answering the emergency needs of families with premature babies in the Lehigh Valley and beyond.

Although the foundation had to cancel its spring fundraisers, an event called #ShareHopeSaturday is ongoing through May 16.

Every Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon curbside service is available at the office at 1148 S Cedar Crest Blvd., lower level, Salisbury Township.

For this event, supporters are urged to participate in a supply drive through the help of social media to help them gather items for Lily’s Hope families that are very difficult to find right now.

These items are key for families with fragile newborns that Lily’s Hope usually includes in the care packages, such as hand sanitizer, soap, paper towels, baby wipes, etc.

At the same time, Lily’s Hope families may come to the office and pick up their care packages.

There is a table at the end of the office walkway and people are asked to beep or call when they are outside, and Lily’s Hope staff will then meet them outside.

“The first event was awesome,” Jennifer M. Driscoll, MBA, founder/executive director, said.

“As an all-volunteer nonprofit, we are grateful for your support.”
