PPL
PPL is honoring individuals working in the nonprofit sector to transform lives in their communities. Ten Bright Lights grants of $10,000 each will be awarded in honorees’ names to their nonprofit agencies. The selected individuals will be announced this September.
PPL is marking a century of people powering progress and making a difference.
Ryan Hill, president of the PPL Foundation, stated “Our centennial is a significant milestone, and we want to celebrate by shining a spotlight on the transformative work of individuals who are leading the charge to create a better world.” Bright Lights nominees must be residents of the 29 counties in Pennsylvania served by PPL Electric Utilities, and must be employed by nonprofit agencies aligned with PPL Foundation’s mission. Submissions, which will be accepted now through April 30, will be reviewed based on criteria, impact, innovation, inspiration and dedication.
