VIKING VOICES

Student council members and faculty have been keeping Central students posted by presenting morning announcements each day via the Internet.

Did you know the FCC has launched the Keep Americans Connected Initiative? Broadband and telephone service providers are offering complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity during the government shutdown. Allentown Central Catholic High School has compiled a list of opportunities for students and families to acquire Wi-Fi during this time of need.

On March 27, a virtual spirit dress down day was held. Students wore their best green and gold and could share, tag or message ACCHS for a chance to win a personal video message from a teacher of their choice. There was a tie, which meant two winners. Congratulations to Miranda Guylcz and her pup Gus who also dressed in green and gold. Miranda requested a personal message from Assistant Principal Mrs. Young. Congratulations to Cam Patridge, who requested a video message from Social Studies Department teacher Miss Alati.

Congratulations to our Vikings recognized as The Morning Call’s 2019-2020 Wrestling All-Stars. Third Team: 126: David Kreidler, (31-8, 95-22): District 11 runner-up, Southeast Regional Class 2A fourth-place finisher; won at least 30 matches for the third year in a row. Honorable Mention: Attikos Clifford (31-12, 95-38); Chris Clifford (28-11, 90-41).
