STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q. Who are the members of your family: parents, siblings and pets?

A. My parents are Doug and Julie Wood and I have a sister named Mallory. I also have a black lab mix named Savannah.

Q. What do you most enjoy about being a senior at Salisbury High School?

A. I like the idea of being looked up to by underclassmen and being able to enjoy things like applying/accepted to college.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject is biology because my teachers have provided me with such an appreciation and background in it and I plan on studying it in college.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I was recently admitted to the Honors College at my university and have been a class officer every year of high school.

Q. What are your favorite extracurricular activities?

A. Although I have been a part of many extracurriculars I do not have a favorite. I’ve always enjoyed the sports I was a part of as well as the clubs like No Place for Hate and class advisory.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. I plan on pursuing secondary education biology with a minor in Spanish.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. My biggest challenge to date would be seeing my peers struggle through this COVID-19 pandemic as it’s up in the air for senior traditions to be canceled.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered for the hard work I have accomplished to be where I am today.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A. I admire my parents for their endless support they have provided me through high school.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. Just remain optimistic.
